CONGRATULATIONS to all our winners and thanks to everyone who supplied an entry. Thanks to all the Judges who came from all over. You all made our 2006 Brew Off a fantastic success!
In all we had 199 entries of beer, mead, and beyond barley.
Additional contratulations to Dave Wohlfeil winner of the entrant appreciation drawing and will receive a years subsctiption to Brew Your Own magazine.

New this year
BABBLE is proud to have the BABBLE Brew Off as a part of the Midwest Home Brewer of the Year competition.
With this 2006 Brew Off BABBLE also premiered the Entrant Appreciation Drawing. One participant was selected at random to be presented a special gift package. Each entry was eligable for the drawing, so each entry increased the chance to win!
And finally, a Beyond Barley Beers special category was been introduced in this years competition. What’s Beyond Barley? Check out chapter 11 in Randy Mosher’s Radical Brewing and Dan Morey’s "Beyond Barley Wine" in the Nov/Dec 2005 issue of Zymurgy.
